DIRECTION UNDER PARAGRAPH 1(3) OF SCHEDULE 8 TO THE PLANNING AND COMPULSORY PURCHASE ACT 2004. POLICIES CONTAINED IN POOLE LOCAL PLAN FIRST ALTERATION ADOPTED MARCH 2004
The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government in exercise of the power conferred by paragraph 1(3) of Schedule 8 to the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 directs that for the purpose of the policies specified in the Schedule to this direction, paragraph 1(2)(a) of Schedule 8 to the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 does not apply.
The schedule referred to includes all policies in the Local Plan, EXCEPT:
- NE9 Agricultural land
- NE10 Agriculture and the character of the countryside
- NE31 Flood Risk
- NE32 Water Services
- H6 Affordable Housing - detail
- S1 Retail Development - location
- CA14 Pitwines East
Policies NE9,
NE10,
NE31,
NE32,
H6,
S1 and
CA14 are
therefore deleted from the Plan and do not form part of the development plan in
terms of Section 38(6) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
